MESSAGE FROM TAU GAMMA SIGMA DELEGATES WHO ATTENDED
THE 1ST WORLD CONGRESS

Date: May 4, 2024

The highly anticipated Program Proper of the Tau Gamma Phi Global 1st World Congress took place on the second day of the event, May 4, 2024. The venue was exceptionally spacious, comfortably accommodating all participants and providing well-lit rooms with toilet and bath facilities to ensure secure comfort. Registration was efficiently handled prior to the Congress, allowing a smooth entry for all attendees.

-Amenities and Souvenirs:

Participants were delighted with the souvenirs distributed, which included Frat Shirts, printed tumblers, and bamboo pens. Additionally, booths were set up on-site for purchasing pasalubong and other items. The variety and quality of offerings were well-received, contributing to an enjoyable experience for everyone. Special thanks are extended to the San Jose Del Monte Grand Council for their generosity and assistance in providing security, food and beverages to all attendees.

-Technical and Logistical Highlights:

Despite a minor technical error with the lighting and sound system, the overall setup was impressive. The hosts effectively managed queries, ensuring smooth proceedings. Brod Dod Peralta, the speaker, delivered his speech with composure and clarity, facilitating an engaging conversation. The quorum was maintained throughout the event, from the introduction of delegates to the adjournment following the ratification of bylaws.

-Areas for Improvement:

While the event was largely successful, there are a few areas for improvement:

1. Nametags: Providing nametags for all attendees would enhance interaction, allowing participants to address each other by name, which is particularly helpful for introverted individuals.

2. Manpower for Food Distribution:  Additional personnel could ensure the equal distribution of food.

3. Frat Shirt Sizing: Ensuring a sufficient supply of Frat Shirts in accurate sizes would prevent sizing issues.

4. Refreshments for Speakers: Ensuring that speakers have bottled water or other refreshments available during their sessions is essential.

Overall, it was a great honor to be part of the successful Tau Gamma Phi's 1st World Congress. Salute to all the hosts and delegates!
