What needs to be developed to transform a person into a Triskelion?
The essence of becoming a Triskelion lies in the harmonious conglomeration of the three dynamic forces: Fortis, Voluntas, and Fraternitas.
Fortis– Fortitude and Strength
Voluntas– Voluntary Freewill and Initiative
Fraternitas– Brotherhood
Can these qualities be developed without paddling or abuse? Absolutely!
Tau Gamma Phi - Global firmly believes that these attributes can be cultivated without inflicting any physical or psychological harm, which is in accordance with Republic Act 11053.
The Tau Gamma Phi - Global Triskelion Development and Acceptance Process has adopted other means to foster Fortitude and Strength, departing from traditional practices such as paddling, branding, or embarrassment, which are prohibited by law.
We incorporate new ideas and other legal techniques to develop the 3 Dynamic Forces..
Through our Global Structure, Tau Gamma Phi can provide a summary of our development process to universities or communities (upon request) where we seek to establish a charter. The development process typically takes 4-6 months for each cohort of applicants to complete before they are accepted as bona fide Triskelions. Activities for neophyte development are usually scheduled on weekends to avoid interfering with educational commitments.
Below, we proudly present a video showcasing the martial arts training of the UP Diliman Triskelions.

Rest assured, in the USA, we do not currently have chartered chapters in any universities or schools. When we do establish them, we will be registered with anti-hazing organizations and will work collaboratively with them. All our chartered chapters and members in the USA consist of alumni and immigrants from the Philippines who have migrated with their families. Notably, 95% of us are well-educated professionals and are committed to upholding U.S. guidelines for fraternities.
We are advocates!
No to Violence!
No to Hazing!
